“To see the world, things dangerous to come,
to see behind walls, draw closer,
to find each other, and to feel.
That is the purpose of life.”
This quote comes from my favourite film – the Secret Life of Walter Mitty. It was filmed mostly in Iceland and the photography in the film is stunning. It is natural beauty like this that inspires me, and has done since a young age. I have travelled to some stunning parts of the world in recent years and witnessed some incredible events, such as the mesmerising dance of the Northern Lights.
The beauty of the natural world is all around us, and I have often photographed the scenic areas in and around my hometown, which goes to show that we don’t have to look far to be inspired by nature.
Here are some of my favourite photos I have taken; if you see any you like as a print, please contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
